梅雨の候、皆さまいかがお過ごしでしょうか。

このたび、2025年5月22日、和歌山県橋本市に位置する高野山参詣口・高野口町の「高野口小学校」にて行われたトイレ掃除実習に、弊社代表・村上が授業の一環として参加いたしました。

当日は「和歌山そうじに学ぶ会」として、応援・協力のかたちで参画させていただきました。

2025年5月22日、和歌山県橋本市、高野山の参詣口に位置する高野口町の「高野口小学校」にて、授業の一環として実施されたトイレ掃除実習に、和歌山そうじに学ぶ会として応援参加しました。

人口およそ1万人のこの町にある高野口小学校は、1875年創立の歴史ある学校で、現役で使用されている木造校舎としては国内最大級の規模を誇ります。1937年に建てられた校舎は、2014年に国の重要文化財に指定され、連続ドラマの舞台としても何度も使用されてきました。2010年前後には改修が施され、今もなお地域の子どもたちの学び舎として使われ続けています。

そのような歴史的価値のある校舎で行われた「スーパートイレ掃除」とは、どのような授業だったのか――。

今回のVLOGは、子どもたちの姿や教室の空気感を、できるだけそのままにお伝えできるよう、ドキュメンタリー風にまとめてみました。村上自身の視点から綴ったエッセイも添えております。

On May 22, 2025, our representative, Mr. Murakami, participated as part of a classroom activity in a toilet-cleaning workshop held at Kōyaguchi Elementary School in Kōyaguchi Town, the gateway to Mount Kōya, Hashimoto City, Wakayama Prefecture.

On that day, our company joined in a supportive and collaborative capacity as part of the “Wakayama Cleaning Learning Association”.

2025年5月22日、和歌山県橋本市、高野山の参詣口に位置する高野口町の「高野口小学校」にて、授業の一環として実施されたトイレ掃除実習に、和歌山そうじに学ぶ会として応援参加しました。

On May 22, 2025, we participated in a toilet-cleaning workshop held as part of classroom activities at Kōyaguchi Elementary School in Kōyaguchi Town, the gateway to Mount Kōya in Hashimoto City, Wakayama Prefecture, as part of the Wakayama Cleaning Learning Association.

Kōyaguchi Elementary School, located in a town of approximately 10,000 people, was founded in 1875 and is one of the largest wooden school buildings still in active use in Japan. The building, constructed in 1937, was designated a National Important Cultural Property in 2014 and has served as a location for numerous TV dramas. Renovations were made around 2010, and the school continues to serve as a place of learning for local children.
